Trunk or treat!

The hat didn't last.Our annual Halloween tradition is to hang out with the Glasford family on Halloween. The first year with Maddy they had a party, last year we went trick or treating and this year we went to the Queen Creek Trunk or Treat. Now for those of you back East who don't know, a trunk or treat is when cars are parked in a big parking lot (in this case at the local park) and the decorate the heck out of the back of their trunks and they pass out treats from the trunks. It's very safe because you're not going from house to house and crossing streets. It was even safer because the town gave the "trunks" the candy so that it would all be safe.
After we got done getting the goods, a whole carnival was set up with bouncies, a train, storytelling and science tricks, food and games.
Pirate Maddy and Pirate Peyton had a blast, despite Peyton having an ear infection and Maddy having just gotten over one.

Charlotte and Lillian just helped us hand out candy this year... Charlotte had a really bad cold... sad I know but we didn't want it to get worst. The plan was that Charlotte & Lillian going as Curious George, Shaun being the man in the yellow had and I was going as Professor Wiseman.
YES, she is great...
