Albion forever.

I got a picture of the faculty office that is named for Matt and I because of our donation to Albion College.

There are many reasons we chose to make the donation, but the idea originated when I was on the last Albion College Capital Campaign committee. It was an honor to serve Albion in this role. I got to return to campus 2 times a year and help brainstorm ideas on how to reach Alumns, invlove students, reach contributors, etc. Having been in the role, I really felt that I wanted to make a major contribution to the campaign. We're not in the position to donate millions like some of the alumni did, but I knew we could do more than a few hundred dollars.

After talking with Jim Whitehouse in the estate planning department, we came up with the idea to use my 401K pledge towards the establishment of a new science and technology center.

Now I'll have to see what we can do when it comes time to doing something for the theatre department! That is where I spent the majority of my time.
