Friday night, Matt and I went to Zoo Brew (our third time going). It is such a blast. It is a beer sampling, food sampling, and 80s flashback concert all to benefit the Phoenix Zoo. This year there were 4 bands, Flock of Seagulls, When In Rome, Dramarama and Real Life.
We talked our friends the Tengei's into going with us. Sarah is a teacher at Legacy with me and she was just married back in March (see previous post). We loved hanging out with them and hope they want to do more.
It was particularly sobering to know I was the oldest of the group and the most familiar with the bands. Ouch!

Then Saturday morning, we went to Nemo on Ice. We had front row seats. It was an odd production, but Maddy and Peyton loved it and that is all that mattered.
But, I guess I am overly critical of productions since that is what I did for so long. Not necessarily ice shows, but when you stage manage, it doesn't always matter what or who the talent is.
