Soon after Matt came back, he had the magic touch and got Maddy going on being potty trained (it's hard to train a little girl with ADD-the last thing she wants is to sit down). She has been doing very well during the day.
Recently, she asked for a mouse. Seriously. So I told her she could have one if she pooped on the potty. Well today while at work, I got a call from Maddy letting me know she had and she wanted her mouse.
Tonight, Matt took her to get one. At first she wanted it to feed Nick's pet snake, but after being at the pet store, she decided she wanted to keep it for a pet. So we now have Thomas the mouse. She named him after Tom and Jerry (but was confused on who was who).
