Traveling to San Diego, a stop at the beach

We left Anaheim and traveled to Carlsbad on the Saturday of our vacation. On the way down, we stopped at a beach in Dana Point. The kids weren't too sure about the water, but loved playing in the sand and on the playground.

Once we got to the hotel and settled down, we headed back out to the beach for the sunset. It was so wonderful - very peaceful. And for me, one of the highlights of our trip.
